About the Schola
The Stamford Schola Gregoriana is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization which works to promote Gregorian chant and choral polyphony of the 16th Century, and is also the name of the schola of male singers which sings regularly at the Church of St. John the Evangelist in Stamford, CT. Founded in 2001 by Scott Turkington, the choir of men have recorded for the Abbey of Regina Laudis in tandem with the nuns of that abbey (see A Gregorian Chant Master Class) and have performed at various venues in Connecticut and New York.
